Backgammon - Play with real or fun money

Do you like playing Backgammon? There’s this site which lets you play backgammon online. The graphics is much better than those offered in Yahoo Games and at the same time you get to play against real people from all around the world.

Download and install Backgammon Online

Once on the site, you’ll need to download the game. No worries about it being a virus as as McAffee has already checked and approved it for being legitimate and clean. Create a user with them after the installation and it will remember your login details everytime you play.

Here are some backgammon strategies that I apply to win everytime:

  • Bring all my men into your inner board and bear them off as quickly as possible.
  • Aim to set a long wall pieces, ideally 6 points in a row in order to block the opponent’s movement.
  • Close out one or more of the opponent’s pieces by occupying all 6 of the points in the inner table.

After downloading and installing the backgammon game,I find it fun to play. At the same time, I get to meet new people. I’m considering playing with real money in the future, but for now, I need to practice, practice and practice more!

PS3 to cost 100 less in North America

PS3 to cost 100 less in North America

Yippee! The PS3 is now more cheaper and affordable. Sony Corp. announced Monday 10 July 2007, a 100-dollar price cut for the PlayStation 3 in North America and plans for a beefed-up version of the console in a bid to catch up with rivals Nintendo and Microsoft.

You can now get a PS3 with 40GB drive for $499

It also plans to soon release a PS3 with 80GB drive version for $599

PS3 sales are trailing those of Nintendo’s Wii and Microsoft’s Xbox 360. The Wii outsold the PS3 by more than six to one in Japan in June, according to research from publisher Enterbrain.

So with this price cut would you go for a PS3, Nintendo Wii or Microsoft Xbox 360?
